For too long Tasmanians have had restrcited access to medical scripts. The Tasmanian Government has refused to accept interstate doctor's scripts for many medications. Meaning that Tasmanian's have been restricted to access for essential medicine.

Currently the proposal is to allow interstate doctors to have their scripts dispensed in Tasmania BUT they have to register personally with Tasmanian Government before they can be approved. This will still restrict access. It will also mean that Tasmania is still the only state ...

Have your voice heard and make a submission on how Tasmanians can access better healthcare. The Tasmanian Government is considering new legislation that will finally allow interstate doctors to have the scripts dispensed in Tasmania. We deserve the same access that every other Australian has. Australian doctors should have their scripts accepted in Tasmania without any restrictions.
